Stephanie Cervantes, the Owner of Secure Smart Solutions, draws upon her extensive 30-year background in security and privacy to craft tailored cybersecurity solutions. Following a distinguished career in California government, Stephanie's expertise led her to consult for a telecom company, deliver keynote talks, participate in cyber panels as a security expert, and briefly join an IT reseller before establishing Secure Smart Solutions. Actively engaged in the cybersecurity community, frequently contributes as a panelist and speaker at cyber events, and collaborates on cybersecurity and privacy training courses for continuing education institutions.

Stephanie's career includes roles such as Chief Security Architect for the world's largest public-sector pension fund, management of technical security testing for significant State of California ERP projects, and the establishment of one of the first Privacy Offices for the State of California. She has served as a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and contributed to various State and Federal security policy development groups and advisory boards. As the founder and chair of the CA Inter-Agency Security Group for two decades, Stephanie played a pivotal role in shaping cybersecurity initiatives. She is also a founding member and current President of the Sacramento Chapter of InfraGard, an alliance between the FBI and critical infrastructure. In 2011, Stephanie received an FBI Director's Award for Exceptional Service in the Public Interest, and in 2014, she was honored with an Information Security Leadership Award for her outstanding contributions to the State of California Information Security Community. Stephanie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government from California State University, Sacramento, and holds certifications as a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), and Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT).

Ray Cervantes serves as the Vice President of Business Development at Secure Smart Solutions, leveraging an extensive career spanning over 30 years in sales, negotiations, and regulatory compliance. His wealth of experience includes notable achievements and awards in sales. Ray's professional journey began in Real Estate and with the State of California, where he specialized in selling worker's compensation insurance and managing Claims and Human Resources Sections. Co-founding Secure Smart Solutions was a natural progression, allowing him to combine his expertise and passion for problem-solving. Ray excels in assisting customers by matching them with technology or training solutions tailored to meet their specific needs.  Ray holds a Bachelor of Science degree from California State University, Chico.

Gretchen focuses on healthcare and commercial after a 21 year career as a cardiac device representative for St. Jude Medical where she worked with various hospitals across the Northern California and Nevada. Her main focus was working with cardiologists, cardio thoracic surgeons and electrophysiologists assisting them with technical advice in both the procedures and clinical environment. She had many opportunities working with hospital administrators and purchasing agents to ensure the highest quality devices and best pricing for their hospitals.​

Emily Boudreau serves as Director of Operations & Strategic Accounts at Secure Smart Solutions, where she leads operational strategy, oversees strategic customer relationships, and helps drive the company’s continued growth.

As a member of the leadership team, Emily works across the business to strengthen internal operations, guide strategic initiatives, and ensure a high level of service for customers and partners. She oversees key accounts throughout the customer lifecycle, from business development and procurement strategy through contract execution and long-term account growth. With a strong understanding of public-sector procurement and technology partnerships, Emily is focused on building scalable processes, strengthening strategic relationships, and positioning Secure Smart Solutions for sustainable growth.
